Jake Paris has been making art for most of his life. He mostly draws his inspiration for his paintings from his faith in Christ. Here are a few bible verses in particular which have a direct impact on his art: 1 Corinthians 15:33-58, 2 Corinthians 4:4-12, Colossians 3:9-12, and Ephesians 4:22-24. Jake considers his paintings to be works which ripen as they are viewed and considered. He hopes that you enjoy the time they take to do so.

Jake grew up in Baltimore, Maryland and graduated from the Baltimore School for the Arts.  He received a Bachelor's of Fine Art from Maryland Institute College of Art.  He has participated in a number of solo and group shows since graduating, and his work has been generally well received.  

Jake lives with his lovely wife in Lewiston, Maine where he continues to make art with glee.
